So I guess video has taken a backseat to slideshows as the visual du jour to enhance your listening experience. This service by Snapp Radio uses Last FM, a music recommendation and listening service, and Radio Paradise, some kind of eclectic listener supported station (for the jam band scene? not sure … ), as the musical backdrop and pulls Flickr photos into your browser based on tags related to what your playing. This works on Last FM because users have applied tags to songs and artists through the Last FM service; I’m not sure how Radio Paradise does it. Anyway, it seems more interesting (and relevant?) than watching some crazy digital visualization that you’d get from iTunes, Windows Media, etc. etc.
