(Ha, that’s just silly.) So 3 has come out with some new marketing campaign that is going to usher in the Web to mobile users on the 3G network. It doesn’t seem to be revolutionary, just bundling now-popular Web services under a fixed cost for data transfer, but does include services many people may soon be using (if they aren’t already) like Sling and Orb.
I guess the reason this is a good thing is that many Web services still aren’t optimized for the mobile environment (graphics, page size, etc.), and this makes things a bit easier for people not interested in cobbling together the services that are. Or maybe I’m missing something.
