I must mention to myself (for documentation purposes) how stellar the Boredoms show was last Saturday night at the Paradise.  First off, it was over 90 minutes of percussive awesomeness.  Eye conducted, twiddled knobs, and played the Sevena, a seven-necked guitar that was being re-tuned and re-stringed throughout the show by a guitar tech, with a broomstick and drumsticks (hence the need for a guitar tech on call).  Three drummers, including long-time Boredoms member Yoshimi, intertwined polyrhthms throughout the entire set, with Yoshimi occassionally turning around in here chair to bust some affected lines on her keyboard.

As a result I’ve been channeling Boredoms albums into my ears for the past few days, including Pop Tatari and Vision Creation Newsun.
